LIBOR Replacement, Here and Abroad-What You Should Do Now

Mandatory reporting of LIBOR will continue through 2021; but will LIBOR continue to be considered the representative rate through 2021? During this session, we'll provide a brief overview of the status of changes to global benchmark interest rates. The discussion will center around what Treasury can do now to prepare themselves for the switch to and the mechanics of the US replacement rate SOFR that will require changes to asset classes throughout the organization.

Ruth Hardie

Ruth Hardie joined Hedge Trackers at its inception in 2000 and currently manages the Interest Rate Derivative Accounts. In her tenure at Hedge Trackers, she has designed and accounted for cash flow, fair value and net investment hedge strategies that met the extensive GAAP documentation and reporting requirements.

Rob Owens

Robert Owens is the Director of Fixed Income Strategy at Farmer Mac. He has been with Farmer Mac since receiving his MBA in 2004 as a trader, the head of the Capital Markets Dept. and the head of Fixed Income Investor Relation. His current role includes developing funding and hedging strategies.
